Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule has reiterated his commitment to seeking opportunities to open the state to global investments, particularly in solid minerals and other areas of mutual economic interest.
Governor Sule spoke to journalists in New York, USA after an event to brief Vice President Kashim Shettima on Nigeria’s participation in 81st United Nation General Assembly.

Speaking alongside his Kebbi State counterpart, Governor Nasir Idris, Engr Sule said “the abundant solid mineral resources in Nasarawa and Kebbi states placed them in a strong position to attract international investors and promote economic development.”

Governor Sule’s participation in this year’s UNGA is aimed at leveraging the international platform to promote Nasarawa state, attract investments and create new economic opportunities for the people of the state.

Vice President Kashim Shettima is leading Nigeria’s delegation to the global event holding in New York, United States.
