Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule has paid an inspection visit to Ganfeng Lithium Industry refining plant in Shagamu, Ogun State.
Governor Sule was at the plant to track the lithium from Nasarawa being refined at the plant pending the completion of the plant in Endo, Nasarawa State in June of this year,according to a statement on Sunday by the Directorate of Strategic Communication, Nasarawa State Government House.
Governor Sule expressed his happiness that value is added to the mineral here in Nigeria instead of the previous practice where the lithium is carted away in its raw form.
He also made a strong case and got the assurance that the company will bring hundred (100) of Nasarawa State indigenes to the plant in Shagamu for skills acquisition and technology transfer.
