Kano State Commissioner for Solid Mineral and Natural Resources, Hon. Hamza Safiyanu Kachako, Permanent Secretary, Engineer Mansur Yakubu, Directors, Senior Staff and other stakeholders in the sector on Monday, 25th August, 2025 attended a One Day Workshop on ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING AND COUNTER- TERRORISM FINANCING FOR ARTISANAL AND SMALL- SCALE MINERS AND DEALERS IN METALS AND PRECIOUS STONES.
The Workshop took place at Ado Bayero Mall, Zoo Road, Gandun Albasa, Kano City.
Adamu Ibrahim Dabo, Director Public Enlightenment of the Ministry said in a press statement that the One-Day workshop was organized by Solid Minerals Development Fund (SMDF) in collaboration with Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering).
