A webinar focusing on exploring the opportunities in the Lithium sector across west Africa holds on May 28, 2026.
Organised by Vuka Group, organisers of the Nigerian Mining Week, the webinar is designed get lithium development in West Africa moving into a stage of real growth decisions.
The theme is: West Africa’s Lithium Opportunity, Building a Regional Battery Grade Value Chain
“Policy direction is forming, processing pathways are being debated, and investor expectations are shaping what is considered credible. This is happening now, not later,” said a statement by the organisers.
Speakers include
Prof. Olusegun Omoniyi Ige, Director General, Nigerian Geological Survey Agency; Patrick de Saint Simons, Mineral Economist, Mining and Civil Engineer; Luc Braun, Research Analyst, Lithium at Benchmark Mineral Intelligence.
It will be moderated by Ian Chauke, General Manager at Universal Coal.
